The Traditions NitroBolt is a bolt-action muzzleloader chambered in 50 Cal, purpose-built around the Federal Firestick ignition system. As the first Firestick-capable bolt action on the market, the NitroBolt pairs modern rifle ergonomics with the simplicity of a single-shot bolt and the weather-resistant, hassle-free ignition of the Firestick case system - no loose powder or percussion caps to wrestle with in the field.

At its heart is a 24" free-floating, fluted and tapered chromoly steel barrel finished in rugged Tungsten Cerakote and threaded 3/4x24 at the muzzle for easy mounting of a brake or compensator. The barrel carries a 1:24 VAPR twist to stabilize modern conical muzzleloader projectiles. The matching Tungsten Cerakote steel receiver is drilled and tapped and ships with a Picatinny optics rail installed - no iron sights are provided.

The Desert Web synthetic stock is pillar bedded for a solid action-to-stock interface and offers both an adjustable cheek piece and an adjustable length-of-pull, letting you dial in a proper cheek weld and fit whether you're on the bench or off-hand in the field. A 3-position thumb safety and a patented extractor sized for the Firestick case round out the action. At roughly 6.5 lbs, the NitroBolt carries comfortably on long hunts while staying solidly built for the recoil of a 50 caliber charge.

Sights are not included from the factory, leaving the NitroBolt ready for the scope or red dot of your choice.
