Savage Axis XP Combo Compact 243 Win 20" 4+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Savage Arms Axis XP Combo Compact is a bolt-action centerfire hunting rifle from Savage's Axis line, configured in a compact layout and sold as a factory-scoped package. Chambered in .243 Winchester, it uses a traditional turn-bolt action and ships with a mounted scope and scope base already installed, along with a detachable box magazine.

At the core of the rifle is a 20" button-rifled carbon steel barrel with a 1:9.25" twist and a matte finish, mated to a carbon steel receiver. The action cycles a 4-round detachable magazine for a 4+1 total capacity. The rifle wears a black fixed sporter stock molded from polymer, and the overall length measures 39.50" with a weight of approximately 7.40 lbs. This model is set up for right-hand shooters and ships with no iron sights, intended for optic use from the factory.

The "Combo" designation refers to the bundled optic package: a factory-mounted Weaver 3-9x40mm riflescope secured to the receiver with a two-piece Weaver-style base. With the scope and base already installed, the Axis XP Combo Compact arrives as a turn-key hunting setup - load the included magazine, zero the scope, and head to the range or the field.
