Savage Axis 2 XP Combo Compact 223 Rem 20" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage Axis 2 XP Combo Compact is a turn-key bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 223 Remington, packaged from the factory with a mounted scope so it is ready to head straight to the range. This right-hand, compact-configuration variant pairs a 20" Heavy Sporter barrel in matte black with a drilled and tapped carbon steel receiver, fitted to a fixed matte gray synthetic stock.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger is paired with a 4+1 detachable box magazine for reliable feeding and a clean, consistent let-off. The Heavy Sporter barrel is cut with a 1:9" twist, making it well-suited to a wide range of 223 Rem bullet weights. The receiver ships drilled and tapped with the factory-mounted, boresighted 3-9x40mm scope already installed on the included rings and bases; iron sights are intentionally omitted.

With an overall length of 39.50" and a weight of approximately 7.50 lbs, the Axis 2 XP Combo Compact is well-balanced for carry, prone work, or shooting from a treestand or blind. The redesigned Axis 2 stock geometry improves ergonomics and control in the field, and the package arrives complete from Savage with the optic installed and boresighted, requiring only a final confirmation zero from the shooter.
