The Savage Axis 2 XP Combo is a value-packed hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, built around a 22-inch matte black sporter barrel with a 1:8" twist for excellent stabilization of modern long-range hunting projectiles.

The redesigned Axis 2 features an ergonomic hardwood stock with enhanced texturing, an updated pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells, and an enhanced bolt handle for smooth, reliable cycling. This left-hand configuration places the ejection port and bolt handle on the correct side for southpaw shooters. A 4-round detachable box magazine feeds the bolt action, and a user-adjustable Savage AccuTrigger lets shooters set the pull weight to their preference.

The carbon steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting and ships with a mounted Weaver 3-9x40mm scope so the rifle arrives ready for the range or field. Iron sights are not included - the mounted Weaver 3-9x40mm scope is the sighting solution. Overall length is 42.5" and the rifle weighs approximately 7.80 lbs, a comfortable all-day carry weight for spot-and-stalk or treestand hunting.
