The Savage Axis 2 XP Combo is a value-packed bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the 400 Legend cartridge, factory paired with a 3-9x40 scope and ready for the field straight out of the box.

A 20" heavy sporter contour barrel is mated to a carbon steel receiver with a 1:16" twist to stabilize the broad range of 400 Legend hunting bullet weights. Savage's proven bolt action feeds from a detachable 4+1 box magazine and uses an enhanced bolt handle for positive cycling. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks cleanly within a 2.5-6 lb pull range and can be tuned without tools.

This Compact model is built around a redesigned gray synthetic stock with enhanced texturing, an updated pistol grip featuring ambidextrous palm swells, and a shortened length of pull for smaller-framed shooters. The configuration is purpose-built for left-handed shooters who want a true LH bolt-action rifle in 400 Legend.

The rifle ships without iron sights installed and arrives with the optic already mounted. The XP Combo package comes with a factory-mounted 3-9x40 scope so you can head to the range immediately. Overall length is 39.50" and the rifle weighs 7.40 lbs, a balanced, easy-handling package for stand, blind, or still-hunting.
