Savage Axis 2 XP Combo 308 Win 22" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage Axis 2 XP Combo is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 308 Win, offered as a factory scoped package ready for the field. It pairs a 22" black sporter barrel with a drilled and tapped black carbon steel receiver, topped with a factory-mounted and boresighted Weaver 3-9x40mm scope with fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments. The fixed synthetic stock is finished in OD Green.

Feeding from a detachable box magazine for a 4+1 capacity, the Axis 2 XP uses Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger for a clean, tunable pull. The barrel is cut with a 1:10" rate of twist to stabilize a wide range of 308 Win bullet weights. No iron sights are fitted; the included scope is the primary aiming solution.

At 42.50" overall and approximately 7.70 lbs, the rifle is well-proportioned for carry in the field and steady shooting from a bench or rest. This right-hand, full-size configuration ships as a complete package - rifle and scope - giving the shooter a turnkey setup from a single box.
