Savage Axis 2 XP Combo 30-06 Springfield 22" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage Arms Axis 2 XP Combo is a bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in the classic American 30-06 Springfield cartridge, factory configured with a mounted scope so it is ready for the field right out of the box.

At the heart of the rifle is a 22" matte black sporter contour barrel paired with a drilled and tapped carbon steel receiver, giving shooters a stable, accurate platform for big game, hog, and predator hunting. The barrel features a 1:10" twist rate well matched to the broad range of bullet weights available in 30-06 Springfield.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger allows the shooter to fine-tune pull weight to taste, while the ergonomic hardwood stock delivers the classic look and feel that has defined American sporting rifles for generations. The right-hand stock is finished in a warm brown tone that complements the matte black barreled action, and the overall package measures 42.50" end-to-end at approximately 7.80 lbs.

The rifle feeds from a 4-round detachable magazine for a 4+1 total capacity. The action is supplied without iron sights, since this XP Combo package is set up from the factory for optics use.

This XP Combo ships with a factory-mounted and boresighted Weaver 3-9x40mm scope featuring fully multi-coated lenses and toolless windage and elevation adjustments, along with a pair of Weaver-style bases. The included magnifications cover everything from close brush shots to longer open-country engagements, making the Axis 2 XP Combo a turnkey hunting package.
