Savage Axis 2 XP Combo 223 Rem 22" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Left Hand

The Savage Axis 2 XP Combo is an affordable, hunting-ready bolt-action rifle chambered in 223 Rem and configured for left-hand shooters. It pairs a 22-inch matte black sporter-contour barrel with a black carbon steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope bases, all riding on a gray fixed synthetic stock.

The action is fed by a detachable box magazine that holds 4 rounds plus 1 in the chamber (4+1), and the trigger is Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger. The barrel uses a 1:9" twist rate well suited to common 223 Rem bullet weights. The rifle ships without iron sights since it is set up from the factory to use the included optic, and it measures 42.50 inches overall with a weight of 7.70 lbs.

The XP Combo package ships with one detachable magazine and a Weaver 3-9x40mm riflescope already mounted, giving shooters a complete out-of-the-box setup for hunting and range use. The drilled-and-tapped receiver also allows easy mounting of alternative optics if a different scope is preferred.

Built around Savage's proven bolt-action platform with a gray synthetic stock and black metalwork, the Axis 2 XP Combo offers an entry-level price point for centerfire hunting while bundling the optic so it's ready for the field right out of the box.
