Savage Axis 2 Pro Woodland 6mm ARC 20" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Left Hand

The Savage Axis 2 Pro Woodland is a purpose-built hunting rifle chambered in the modern, flat-shooting 6mm ARC cartridge. This left-hand configuration pairs Savage's proven bolt-action platform with a synthetic fixed stock finished in Woodland camouflage and a sculpted pistol grip, giving left-handed shooters a ready-to-go field rifle straight out of the box.

At the heart of the rifle is a 20" carbon steel barrel finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote for corrosion resistance in harsh hunting conditions. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24 for muzzle device or suppressor attachment and features a 1:7.5" twist rate optimized to stabilize a wide range of 6mm ARC bullet weights. A one-piece Picatinny optics rail is integrated up top, ready to mount a scope; the rifle ships with no iron sights installed.

Savage's signature user-adjustable AccuTrigger is standard, allowing the shooter to dial in pull weight without removing the stock or paying a trip to the gunsmith. A conventional thumb safety sits at the rear of the action for positive, gloved-hand manipulation. The action feeds from a detachable 4-round box magazine, giving a 4+1 total capacity suited to the 6mm ARC's role as a moderate-range hunting and predator round.

Overall length is 40.5" and the rifle weighs in at 6.70 lbs, a balanced figure that carries comfortably on long stalks but stays steady off a bench or pack frame. Thread-in headspacing, long a Savage hallmark, is carried over to the Axis 2 line for consistent accuracy shot-to-shot.
