Savage Axis 2 Pro Woodland 223 Rem 20" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage Axis 2 Pro Woodland is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .223 Remington. Part of the redesigned Axis 2 Pro line, it pairs a 20" heavy sporter profile barrel with a one-piece Picatinny optics rail and the proven user-adjustable AccuTrigger, giving hunters an accurate, suppressor-ready platform straight out of the box.

The carbon steel barrel is cut with a 1:9 twist for stable performance across a wide range of .223 Rem bullet weights and is threaded at the muzzle for easy attachment of a suppressor, muzzle brake, or compensator. A Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish on the metal shrugs off corrosion in the field. The action is a traditional turn-bolt design fed by a detachable 4-round box magazine, giving a 4+1 total capacity. An enhanced bolt handle improves cycling under optics, and the receiver is topped with a one-piece Picatinny rail so a scope or red dot can be mounted directly without separate bases.

The synthetic stock wears the Savage Woodland camouflage pattern with a fixed pistol-grip configuration and ambidextrous palm swells for a secure hold in cold weather or with gloves. Ergonomic texturing along the grip and forend keeps the rifle planted during off-hand shots. A thumb safety sits at the rear of the action for safe carry in the field. The rifle is built for right-hand shooters, weighs in at 6.80 lbs, and measures 40.50" overall.

Designed as a versatile, do-it-all centerfire, the Axis 2 Pro Woodland .223 Rem is well suited to varmint and predator hunting as well as general range use. Sights are not included; the factory Picatinny rail accepts any standard scope or red dot, and the threaded barrel is ready for the muzzle accessory of your choice.
