The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro Western is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, purpose-built for left-handed shooters. Built around Savage's redesigned Pro-series stock, this rifle pairs a Western Camo finish with the modern upgrades hunters expect from the Axis 2 line.

At the heart of the rifle is a 20" heavy sporter carbon steel barrel with a 1:10 twist, spiral fluting, and a threaded muzzle in 5/8x24 pattern for direct attachment of a muzzle device or suppressor. The barrel and carbon steel receiver wear a Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance in tough field conditions. Savage's thread-in headspacing system delivers consistent shot-to-shot accuracy, and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter dial in a custom pull weight for control at the range or in the field.

The fixed stock with pistol grip is finished in Savage's Western Camo pattern, designed to break up the rifle's silhouette in open-country terrain. The overall length measures 40.5" and total weight comes in at 6.80 lbs. A Picatinny optics rail is included up top for straightforward scope mounting, while factory iron sights are not provided so the shooter can choose the optic setup that best fits their hunt. A 4-round detachable box magazine feeds the action, giving the rifle a 4+1 total capacity.
