The Savage Axis 2 Pro in .243 Winchester is a purpose-built hunting rifle configured for left-handed shooters and dressed in Forest SP Camo from the factory. Built around a 20" spiral-fluted, threaded barrel and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger, this bolt-action rifle pairs Savage's proven Axis 2 platform with updated ergonomics and a fixed synthetic stock with a modern pistol grip.

The 20" barrel is spiral fluted and threaded at the muzzle. A carbon steel receiver mates to the barrel via Savage's thread-in headspacing system. The rifle feeds from a 4+1 detachable box magazine and weighs a backcountry-friendly 6.80 lbs.

The fixed synthetic stock is finished in Forest SP Camo and incorporates a contoured pistol grip. At 40.50" overall length, the Axis 2 Pro handles smoothly from a blind, a treestand, or a prone shooting position, and the left-hand configuration makes this an ideal choice for southpaw hunters. No iron sights are installed, leaving the rifle ready for the scope of your choice.
