At the heart of the rifle is Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which allows a crisp, custom pull without compromising safety. The matte black barrel is mated to a drilled and tapped carbon steel receiver, ready to accept scope bases or a one-piece mount right out of the box. The barrel is cut at a 1:10" twist, well suited to stabilizing a wide range of 308 Win bullet weights from light varmint loads to heavy hunting projectiles.
