Savage Axis 2 6.5 Creedmoor 22" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage Arms Axis 2 is a redesigned bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. This configuration (item 32051) pairs a 22" matte black Sporter-contour barrel with a matte black drilled-and-tapped steel receiver and a fixed Flat Dark Earth synthetic stock for right-handed shooters.

The 22-inch barrel carries a 1:8 twist rate. The steel receiver is matte black and comes drilled and tapped, ready for your preferred scope base and rings; no iron sights are installed. At 42.50" overall and weighing 6.60 lbs, the Axis 2 is sized for carry in the field and steady shots from a bench or prone position.

The user-adjustable AccuTrigger is standard, allowing the shooter to set the trigger pull weight without a trip to the gunsmith. The two-position safety is positioned for natural thumb operation, and the rifle feeds from a detachable 4-round box magazine for a 4+1 total capacity - swap pre-loaded magazines in the field for follow-up shots or different loads.

The fixed synthetic stock is molded in a non-reflective Flat Dark Earth finish with subtle texturing and a traditional Sporter-style profile, making it a comfortable carry for spot-and-stalk or treestand hunting. One detachable box magazine is included.
