Savage Axis 2 308 Win 22" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Left Hand

The Savage Arms Axis 2 in .308 Winchester is an affordable hunting bolt-action rifle built around a 22" matte black Sporter barrel and a matte black drilled and tapped steel receiver. This left-hand configuration wears a fixed matte gray synthetic stock, giving it a clean two-tone field-ready look.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger ships standard, letting shooters dial in a clean, crisp pull straight from the factory. The barrel is cut at a 1:10" rate of twist, well suited to the broad range of .308 Win bullet weights used on medium game. A detachable box magazine feeds the action for a working capacity of 4+1.

The Axis 2 measures 42.5" overall and weighs 6.6 lbs, a manageable package for all-day carry in timber or open country. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and the rifle ships without iron sights so the buyer can mount their preferred optic.
