The Savage Axis 2 is a value-oriented bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 270 Winchester, built around a matte black 22" sporter barrel and a 4+1 detachable box magazine. The redesigned ergonomic gray synthetic stock features a vertical pistol grip, palm swells, and enhanced texturing for confident handling in wet or cold weather. The matte black steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases and ships without iron sights so you can mount your preferred optic.

At the heart of the rifle is Savage's signature user-adjustable AccuTrigger, letting you dial in a clean, personalized pull weight at the range with no gunsmithing required. The 22" sporter barrel runs a 1:10" twist that stabilizes the typical 270 Win bullet weights used for medium to large North American game. The enhanced bolt design delivers smoother cycling and feeding through the four-round magazine.

Right-hand configuration with a fixed length-of-pull stock keeps this Axis 2 a lean, all-weather hunting rifle. It measures 42.50" overall and weighs approximately 6.6 lbs unloaded, putting it squarely in the lightweight mountain-rifle class. Each rifle ships with one 4-round detachable box magazine.
