The Savage Axis 2 is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 25-06 Remington. This left-hand model pairs a 22-inch matte black sporter barrel, free-floated for accuracy, with a matte black drilled-and-tapped steel receiver ready for your preferred scope base and rings.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you dial in a crisp, clean break right out of the box without paying a gunsmith, and the smooth bolt feeds from a detachable box magazine holding 4+1 rounds. The button-rifled barrel is cut with a 1:10" twist to stabilize the broad range of bullet weights the 25-06 is famous for, from light varmint projectiles to heavier big-game loads.

A fixed green synthetic stock shrugs off weather, scratches, and rough handling in the field, while the 42.5" overall length and 6.60 lb carrying weight keep the Axis 2 well balanced for spot-and-stalk, treestand, and mid-range hunting alike.
