The Savage Axis 2 in .243 Winchester is a purpose-built hunting bolt-action rifle configured for left-handed shooters. Chambered in the versatile 243 Win cartridge, this rifle pairs a 22" matte black carbon steel sporter barrel with a 1:9.25" twist rate for solid accuracy across a wide range of bullet weights, from light varmint loads up to controlled-expansion big-game projectiles.

The action is built around a matte black drilled and tapped steel receiver, ready to accept your preferred scope bases and rings. Savage's renowned user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, clean pull that can be set without tools, and the smooth bolt is designed for reliable cycling in the field. Iron sights are not included, allowing you to mount optics directly to the receiver.

A redesigned ergonomic fixed green synthetic stock with enhanced texturing provides a secure grip in adverse conditions, while the left-hand configuration keeps the bolt handle and ejection port on the correct side for southpaw hunters. The rifle feeds from a detachable 4-round box magazine for a total 4+1 capacity.
