Savage Axis 2 223 Rem 22\" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage Axis 2 is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .223 Remington, built around a 22" matte black carbon steel sporter barrel with a 1:9" twist and a matte black drilled and tapped steel receiver. The button-rifled sporter profile keeps the rifle light and trim for long days in the field.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger allows the shooter to dial in pull weight by hand for a clean, crisp break straight out of the box. The action is fed by a detachable box magazine for a 4+1 capacity. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and this model ships with no iron sights installed.

The fixed OD Green synthetic stock offers improved grip texturing and ergonomic contours over the original Axis, finished in a weather-resistant green synthetic built to handle rain, snow, and rough field use. At 42.50" overall length and 6.60 lbs, the Axis 2 in this right-hand configuration is well-balanced and easy to maneuver from a treestand, blind, or spot-and-stalk setup.
