Ruger American II 400 Legend 20" 5+1 Bolt-Action Rifle - Cobalt Cerakote Threaded Barrel, Gray Splatter Stock

The Ruger American Rifle Gen II refines Ruger's proven American bolt-action platform with a modern feature set. This full-size bolt-action rifle is chambered in 400 Legend and built around a 20" spiral-fluted, threaded barrel finished in rugged Cobalt Cerakote for protection against weather and hard field use.

A three-lug bolt with a short 70-degree throw provides ample scope clearance, and the bolt is CNC machined for smooth, reliable cycling. The spiral-fluted barrel is threaded at the muzzle to accept the installed Radial Muzzle Brake or other user-supplied muzzle devices, and cut with a 1:16" twist to stabilize a broad range of 400 Legend bullet weights.

The receiver is Alloy Steel, drilled and tapped, and topped with an integrated Picatinny rail so mounting an optic is straightforward. No iron sights are installed out of the box, keeping the package optic-ready. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger lets the user set a preferred pull weight, and a familiar three-position safety lets the rifle be carried with a round chambered and the safety engaged.

The Gray Splatter synthetic stock features a splatter-finished surface that provides excellent grip without being too sharp or abrasive and ships with the adjustable length-of-pull spacer system so the fit can be tuned to the shooter. Steel sling swivel studs are installed for traditional sling attachment, and the rifle ships with one detachable 5-round box magazine.

At 41.75" overall and weighing 6.40 lbs, the Ruger American II in 400 Legend is a lightweight, versatile bolt-action rifle.
