Designed as a shorter, more maneuverable take on the Patriot platform, it ships with Mossberg's spiral-fluted bolt, a recessed crown, and the patented LBA (Lightning Bolt Action) user-adjustable trigger for a clean, consistent pull.

The matte-blued carbon steel barrel is free-floated and tipped with an 11-degree target crown for dependable accuracy across a broad range of 308 Win loads. Up top, the matte-blued Picatinny rail receiver accepts optics and accessories directly with no separate base required, and the rifle ships with no iron sights, leaving the rail open for the scope or red dot of your choice. The action feeds from a detachable box magazine for a total 5+1 capacity, and the spiral-fluted bolt keeps the lockup smooth and tight.

A fixed black synthetic stock keeps weight down at 6.40 lbs and shrugs off weather and rough handling in the field.
