The Mossberg Patriot in 400 Legend is a value-priced, full-size bolt-action hunting rifle built around a 20" threaded barrel finished in Stainless Cerakote for corrosion resistance and suppressor-readiness. The barrel is paired with a stainless steel receiver in matching Cerakote that is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and topped off with a recessed crown muzzle to protect the rifling.

Designed for American hunting, the Patriot features Mossberg's adjustable Lightning Bolt Action (LBA) trigger that lets the user tune pull weight from the factory setting, a 4+1 internal box magazine, and a 1:10" twist rate well-suited to a wide range of 400 Legend bullet weights. A fixed black synthetic stock shrugs off weather and rough use in the field.

The rifle ships with no iron sights, leaving the receiver open for your preferred optics on the factory drilled-and-tapped bases. At an overall length of 40.25" and a weight of 6.50 lbs, the Patriot handles comfortably for a long day in the stand or on a spot-and-stalk hunt, and the threaded muzzle makes adding a muzzle device or suppressor straightforward.
