Kimber Mountain Ascent Peak 6.5 Creedmoor 22" 4+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Kimber Mountain Ascent Peak is a lightweight bolt-action mountain hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, engineered for hunters who cover serious ground in rough backcountry terrain. It pairs Kimber's aluminum receiver with a rigid fixed aluminum/carbon-fiber stock to deliver packable weight without sacrificing shot-to-shot consistency, sitting in the brand's premium backcountry-hunting lineup.

At the heart of the rifle is a 22" match-grade threaded barrel with a 1:8" twist, a rate chosen to stabilize the heavy-for-caliber, high-ballistic-coefficient projectiles the 6.5 Creedmoor is known for. A muzzle brake is fitted at the factory, and Kimber includes a 5/8x24 adapter for suppressor use so the shooter can quickly swap between the brake and a compatible can without leaving the range.

The action is a traditional turn-bolt design with a 3-position safety and an adjustable trigger, giving a clean, refined break for both field and range work. Capacity is 4+1. Iron sights are not included; the rifle is delivered as a scope-ready platform.

Designed for long days on the mountain, the Mountain Ascent Peak tips the scales at just 5.60 lbs and measures 42.75" overall. The package ships with the suppressor adapter and a rifle sling so it is ready to carry from the truck to the alpine.
