The Horizon Firearms Core Bandit is a 6.5 PRC bolt-action rifle built in Texas by a family manufacturer with more than a century of firearms craftsmanship behind every gun that leaves the shop. Part of the Bandit series within the Core line, this rifle is hand-built in annual production runs using high-quality components, bringing custom-shop DNA into a more accessible package aimed at hunters and long-range shooters.

At the heart of the Core Bandit sits a 22-inch barrel chambered in the increasingly popular 6.5 PRC cartridge, a round designed to push high-ballistic-coefficient bullets at serious velocities while keeping recoil tame. The full-length 22" tube gives the cartridge plenty of barrel to realize its flat trajectory and downrange energy potential, making it a natural fit for open-country hunting, medium-to-large game, and long-range precision work. The HRFBND65PR22R configuration is set up specifically for the 6.5 PRC chambering with the 22" barrel, giving it the balance and velocity an all-around hunting rifle needs right out of the box.
