CVA Optima 50 Cal 26" Fluted Break-Open Muzzleloader - Stainless/Black

The CVA Optima is a break-open single-shot .50 caliber muzzleloader from Connecticut Valley Arms, built around a 26-inch stainless fluted barrel, a stainless steel receiver, and a fixed black synthetic stock.

At the heart of the Optima is CVA's break-open action, which gives shooters quick access to the chamber and the firm's finger-removable Quick Release Breech Plug for fast cleaning between shots and simple ignition conversions. The 26-inch stainless fluted barrel cuts weight while adding corrosion resistance, and is paired with a 1:28-inch twist rate well suited for modern sabot loads and conical projectiles.

The receiver is topped with a factory-installed 0 MOA Picatinny optics rail, ready for a scope or red dot. A CrushZone recoil pad softens felt recoil through the fixed black synthetic stock, which carries an ambidextrous-friendly design for both right- and left-handed shooters. With an overall length of 41 inches and a weight of 7.20 lbs, the Optima balances maneuverability in the timber with stable off-hand shooting in the field.
