The Chiappa Firearms 1892 Trapper Carbine revives the classic lever-action rifle platform in a compact carbine configuration chambered in 45 Long Colt. Built around an 8+1 tubular magazine and a quick-handling 16" blued barrel, this model offers the classic Winchester 1892 silhouette scaled down to a handy trapper layout that is equally at home in the brush, at the range, or in a saddle scabbard.

The steel receiver wears a traditional color case hardened finish, paired with a contrasting blued barrel for the classic two-tone lever-gun look. The fixed stock is shaped and finished in oiled walnut, providing a warm, traditional appearance and a comfortable hold for right-hand shooters. Fixed front and adjustable rear iron sights are fitted from the factory, allowing the shooter to dial in for both close work and longer shots.

This 1892 Trapper Carbine weighs approximately 6 lbs unloaded and measures 40.60" overall, balancing nicely for off-hand shooting and fast follow-up shots. The smooth lever action feeds from the tubular magazine, and the action is known for its short throw compared to larger lever-action designs.
