The Browning X-Bolt 2 Western Hunter LR is a purpose-built long-range bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 7mm PRC. Built around Browning's proven X-Bolt 2 long action, it pairs a 24" sporter-weight threaded barrel finished with a belled muzzle and a radial muzzle brake to tame recoil at distance. The barrel runs a 1:8" twist rate, well matched to the high-ballistic-coefficient projectiles the 7mm PRC cartridge was designed to drive.

The action feeds through Browning's Plus Magazine System, a detachable magazine providing a 5+1 capacity. The receiver is topped with Browning's X-Lock scope mounting system for solid, repeatable optic retention and ships without iron sights, ready for the shooter's preferred scope.

An adjustable Deluxe trigger lets the shooter dial in a clean, crisp pull, and a top-tang safety provides intuitive operation without breaking the firing grip. The steel receiver is mated to Browning's Vari-Tech adjustable stock, finished in OVIX natural camouflage and capped with a 1.25" Inflex recoil pad to soften felt recoil during extended range sessions.

Weighing 7.03 lbs unloaded with an overall length of 44.75", the Western Hunter LR balances well in a pack, in a vehicle, or behind a bipod.
