The Browning X-Bolt 2 Mountain Pro is a purpose-built bolt action hunting rifle chambered in 300 PRC, designed for backcountry and mountain hunting where weight savings and downrange accuracy matter equally. Built around a stainless steel long action receiver finished in a low-glare Tungsten Cerakote, this rifle pairs a 24" spiral fluted, threaded barrel with the included Recoil Hawg muzzle brake to tame felt recoil from the magnum-class 300 PRC cartridge.

The barrel features a 1:8" twist rate, well matched to the heavy-for-caliber 300 PRC projectiles favored for high-BC elk, sheep, and western big game work. The carbon fiber stock incorporates a compression molded carbon fiber bedding block for a stable, lightweight platform, finished in a digital camouflage pattern with the tungsten cerakote barreled action providing weather resistance in harsh mountain conditions. The stock offers an adjustable comb and adjustable length of pull so the rifle can be properly fitted behind the shooter's preferred optic.

Feeding from a 3-round detachable box magazine for a 3+1 capacity, the X-Bolt 2 Mountain Pro uses a tang-mounted safety and ships without iron sights so the shooter can mount their own scope base and rings.
