The 26-inch fluted, threaded sporter barrel is tipped with the included Recoil Hawg muzzle brake to tame 6.8 Western recoil, and the 1:7.5 twist stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights suited for open-country hunting. The action rides in the McMillan Game Scout chassis, a composite stock designed for steady prone shooting and long-range hunting from bipods or shooting sticks, giving the rifle a balanced feel for the field.
