The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.8 Western, built around a corrosion-resistant stainless steel package and a fully adjustable Vari-Tech stock.
At the heart of the rifle is a 24" stainless steel barrel with a 1:7.5 twist, threaded at the muzzle and capped with Browning's radial muzzle brake to help tame felt recoil on long-range hunting shots. The stainless steel action is drilled and tapped for direct optic mounting. No iron sights are included, allowing you to mount the optic of your choice.
The Vari-Tech black composite stock gives the Hunter a fully tunable fit: adjustable length of pull, adjustable comb, and interchangeable grip modules let you dial the rifle in to your body geometry and shooting style. Overmolded gripping surfaces help keep the rifle planted in your hands in adverse weather or from field positions.
Internally, the X-Bolt 2 features a crisp adjustable Deluxe trigger and a traditional tang safety for fast, intuitive operation. Capacity is 3+1. Overall length is 46" and the rifle weighs in at 7.01 lbs, making it a manageable carry for long stalks and extended glassing sessions across western big-game country.
The 6.8 Western chambering, stainless barreled action, threaded muzzle, and Vari-Tech ergonomics make the X-Bolt 2 Hunter a strong choice for elk, deer, and other medium-to-large game across varied terrain and weather.
