This Hunter Composite variant pairs a matte blued steel receiver with a 22" threaded sporter barrel fitted with Browning's signature radial muzzle brake for reduced felt recoil at the shoulder.

The X-Bolt 2 receiver is reconfigured with additional bolt guidance surface for smoother bolt travel and a more positive lock-up, and the action wears Browning's Adjustable Deluxe trigger paired with a top tang safety for fast, intuitive thumb engagement. The rifle ships without sights installed, ready to accept your optic of choice, and feeding is rated at 4+1 rounds through a barrel with a 1:10 twist.

Up front, the new Vari-Tech adjustable composite stock brings genuine shooter's fit to a hunting chassis. Length of pull, comb height, and grip modules can be tailored to the shooter and shooting position, and the black finish keeps the rifle subdued in the field.
