The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro Western is a purpose-built left-hand bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the popular long-range 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge. Part of the upgraded Axis 2 Pro line, this rifle pairs Savage's proven bolt-action platform with modern hunting features, including a threaded heavy sporter barrel, user-adjustable AccuTrigger, and a Western Camo fixed stock with a pistol grip for a contemporary, ergonomic hold.

The 20" heavy sporter barrel is finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote and features a 1:8" twist rate well suited to stabilizing the wide range of 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights used for both varmint-sized game and mid-size big game hunting. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 for easy installation of a muzzle brake or suppressor, and the receiver is machined from carbon steel to keep weight manageable at 6.80 lbs. An overall length of 40.50" makes the Axis 2 Pro Western compact enough to handle well in the field while still delivering the velocity and accuracy 6.5 Creedmoor shooters expect.

Savage's AccuTrigger is standard on the Axis 2 Pro, allowing the shooter to adjust trigger pull weight to preference without a trip to the gunsmith. The rifle ships with no iron sights installed, leaving the topped receiver and integrated one-piece 0 MOA rail ready to accept your preferred scope or optic for hunting or precision work. The fixed stock wears a Western Camo pattern in natural earth tones with a sculpted pistol grip, giving the rifle a clean, modern silhouette.
