A 16.13" matte blued carbon steel sporter barrel with a target crown pairs with a 1:16" twist for stable .22 LR performance. The matte black carbon steel receiver carries a familiar thumb safety, and Savage's celebrated AccuTrigger breaks cleanly with a pull that can be set to match the shooter's hand.

The black fixed synthetic stock is sized and shaped for smaller-framed shooters, with a profile that points naturally and shrugs off weather and rough handling. Adjustable peep sights are factory-installed, so the Rascal is ready to shoot straight out of the box with no optics required.
