Designed as the evolution of the original HM50B, the Gen 2 lightens and strengthens key areas while keeping the shooting platform practical for the bench, the bipod, or long-range field work.

This configuration pairs a 29.25" button-rifled, threaded match-grade barrel with a 1:15 twist stabilized for the heavy projectiles typical of .50 BMG loading. The muzzle is threaded 1"-14 TPI for suppressor or muzzle-device use, and the action runs a 9310 steel bolt built to withstand the punishing pressures of the .50 BMG cartridge. The receiver is machined from aluminum and finished in the Tungsten color that gives this variant its "TU" designation.

Up top, the HM50B2 Gen 2 ships without iron sights so the shooter can mount optics directly to the receiver.
