The Smith & Wesson M&P10 Sport OR is a versatile, optics-ready semi-auto AR-10 platform rifle chambered in .308 Win / 7.62x51mm NATO. Purpose-built for recreational, sport, and professional shooting, it combines a durable aluminum receiver, a 4140 steel barrel with 5R rifling and a 1:10" twist, and an A2 flash suppressor. The barrel is finished in black Armornite for long-term corrosion resistance.

This Sport OR configuration wears a 16" barrel, a mid-length gas system, and a Mid-Length handguard topped with a full Picatinny-style rail for mounting optics and accessories. The receiver is machined from aluminum with a black anodized finish, and the lower carries an ambidextrous manual safety, ambidextrous magazine release, and ambidextrous bolt release, plus a chromed firing pin for reliable ignition. Controls are set up for right-handed shooters.

Up front, the rifle is configured optic ready with no iron sights installed, letting you mount your preferred red dot, low-power variable optic, or traditional scope directly to the top rail. The stock is a 6-position telescopic black synthetic stock with an integrated sling swivel, paired with a polymer pistol grip for comfortable handling. At 34" overall length and roughly 8 lbs, the M&P10 Sport balances nicely at the bench, on the move, or in a vehicle.

Smith & Wesson ships this rifle with one 20-round magazine, giving the action a 20+1 total capacity.
