The Great Lakes Firearms GL10 is an AR-10 platform semi-automatic rifle chambered in .243 Winchester, built around a long, accurate barrel and a modern layout that appeals to hunters, target shooters, and precision-minded riflemen. Made in Michigan by Great Lakes Firearms & Ammunition, this GL10 wears a Tungsten Cerakote finish over an aluminum billet upper and lower receiver, delivering a clean, corrosion-resistant package ready for hard field use.

At the core of the rifle is a 24" stainless steel threaded barrel with a 1:10" twist rate, well suited to the broad spread of bullet weights the .243 Win cartridge is known for. The threaded muzzle is fitted with a muzzle brake to soften felt recoil, and the threads are cut to the standard 5/8x24 pitch for easy suppressor or compensator swaps. The barrel is wrapped by an M-LOK handguard (approximately 20") that provides a versatile, free-float mounting surface for bipods, lights, or other accessories, while the upper receiver is topped with a Picatinny optics rail - no iron sights are included.

Internally, the GL10 uses a semi-auto action with a Mil-Spec trigger and is fed by detachable AR-10 pattern magazines with a 5+1 round capacity. Controls follow the familiar AR layout, and the rifle is outfitted with an adjustable Hogue OverMolded stock in black synthetic for a secure, weather-resistant shoulder, paired with a Mil-Spec polymer pistol grip. Total overall length is 44" and the rifle weighs 9.25 lbs, giving it a stable, balanced feel whether shooting off the bench or in the field.
