The CMMG Dissent BR3 is a compact tactical semi-automatic rifle chambered in .308 Win / 7.62x51mm NATO, built on CMMG's AR-10-sized Mk3 platform around the company's patented compact action. This NY/CA Compliant configuration (model 38A260C-AB) is purpose-engineered for restricted-state buyers, pairing a non-threaded 16.10" Medium Taper barrel with an Empire profile in Armor Black and a 10-round detachable magazine for a 10+1 capacity that satisfies feature and magazine-compliance requirements.

The BR3 uses an aircraft-grade aluminum receiver to keep the overall package at 8.70 lbs, with an overall length of 38.20". The barrel runs a 1:10" twist rate optimized for stabilizing .308 Win projectiles, and the non-threaded muzzle keeps the rifle within compliance for jurisdictions that restrict threaded muzzles or muzzle devices. A single-stage trigger delivers a clean break, and a familiar crossbolt safety provides manual operation in the traditional AR-pattern position.
