The Magnum Research Desert Eagle L5 is a modern evolution of the legendary semi-automatic pistol, trimmed down with a lightweight aluminum frame that shaves roughly a pound off the traditional steel-framed design. The iconic Desert Eagle is powered by a unique gas-operated rotating bolt system, allowing it to harness powerful magnum cartridges with rifle-grade reliability in a semi-auto handgun platform.

This L5 model is chambered in .357 Magnum and features a 5-inch barrel fitted with Magnum Research's signature integral muzzle brake for enhanced recoil control. The frame is finished in hard-coat anodized black and paired with a black carbon steel slide and barrel for durability where it matters most. Sights are fixed combat style, the single-action trigger is crisp, and the ambidextrous safety accommodates both left- and right-handed shooters. Grips are Hogue finger-groove wraparound rubber for a secure, comfortable hold. Weight is approximately 41 oz.

The .357 Magnum chambering also safely accepts .38 Special ammunition, giving shooters a versatile range of loads.
