Standard Mfg 1911 Government 45 ACP 5" 7+1 Semi-Auto Pistol

The Standard Mfg 1911 Government is a classic GI-style .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built on a full-size Government frame. It follows the original 1911A1 layout with a 5" barrel, a single-stack 7+1 capacity, and a single-action trigger - the same duty and service pattern that has defined the platform for over a century.

Standard Manufacturing builds this 1911 on a steel frame and steel slide, both finished in a rugged black parkerized coating that delivers a no-glare matte appearance and the traditional service-pistol look. The slide is cut with vertical serrations for positive press checks, and the frame is fitted with a beavertail grip safety extension for improved hand fit and recoil management.

Controls follow the original 1911A1 pattern, including a thumb safety paired with the grip safety, and the pistol wears textured grips for a secure hold. Fixed combat-style iron sights are dovetailed into the slide, and a traditional lanyard loop is fitted to the mainspring housing. Overall length is 8.5" with an unloaded weight of approximately 39 oz; the barrel runs a 1:16" twist for reliable feeding and accuracy with .45 ACP ammunition.
