The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP AOS is a purpose-built .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol from Springfield's Tactical Response Pistol (TRP) lineup, engineered for demanding 1911 enthusiasts who want a fully featured, competition-grade handgun straight out of the box. Chambered in .45 ACP and built around a match-grade 5" hammer-forged stainless steel barrel, the TRP AOS delivers the accuracy, ergonomics, and premium refinements that serious 1911 shooters expect.

The slide is finished in Coyote Brown Cerakote and features the Agency Optic System (AOS) optic-ready cut, allowing direct mounting of compatible red dot optics across a wide range of popular footprints. Aggressive forward slide serrations provide positive press checks and easy manipulation under stress. The frame carries a matching Coyote Brown Cerakote finish and is equipped with a two-piece magwell for faster, more consistent reloads.

Controls are refined for fast, intuitive operation. An ambidextrous thumb safety makes the pistol equally usable by left- and right-handed shooters, while the skeletonized hammer pairs with a Gen 2 Speed Trigger for a clean, crisp break.
