The Springfield Armory 1911 Operator AOS is a tactical-grade, duty-ready single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Purpose-built for defensive and operational use, this full-size Operator AOS variant pairs a factory 5.75" threaded barrel (thread pitch .578x28) ready for suppressor or compensator mounting with Springfield's Agency Optic System (AOS) slide cut for low-profile red-dot compatibility.

The forged carbon steel slide is cut for the AOS optic mounting system, features front and rear serrations for positive manipulation, and wears a hard-wearing Tungsten Gray Cerakote finish. The mating steel frame carries the same Tungsten Gray Cerakote for a uniform, corrosion-resistant package. Up top, the pistol wears tritium night sights for low-light indexing, and the barrel rides at a 1:16 twist for reliable accuracy.

The Operator AOS fills the hand with classic full-size 1911 lines and a full-length grip frame fitted with textured VZ G10 grip panels for a secure, controllable hold under recoil.
