The Springfield Armory 1911 Operator AOS is a duty-grade, optics-ready .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built on the classic 1911 single-action platform. Part of Springfield's Operator series, this Commander-length handgun blends proven 1911 ergonomics with modern tactical features, including the Agency Optics System (AOS) plate for direct-mount red dot optics and a tritium-equipped sight picture for low-light use.

The pistol is built around a 4.25" match-grade barrel chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 round capacity. Its forged carbon steel slide wears a Black Cerakote finish and comes optic-ready with a serrated slide face and rear cocking serrations for positive manipulation. The forged carbon steel frame is finished in matching Black Cerakote, giving the pistol a solid 38 oz carry weight with an overall length of 7.75".
