The Smith & Wesson SD40 2.0 is a striker-fired 40 S&W compact semi-automatic pistol purpose-built for concealed carry, home defense, and everyday range use. The updated 2.0 platform brings an enhanced 2.0 trigger design for a more consistent, repeatable pull along with improved grip texturing over the original SD series.

Built around a black polymer compact frame with an integrated Picatinny accessory rail, the SD40 2.0 ships with a 10+1 round capacity and a 4-inch stainless steel barrel. The slide is machined from stainless steel with a satin finish and aggressive serrations fore and aft for positive press checks, and is topped with white-dot sights for fast daylight target acquisition.

Weighing in at approximately 22.7 oz unloaded, the SD40 2.0 balances controllable recoil with a concealable footprint. The textured polymer grip frame delivers a confident hold without being abrasive against the body, and the integrated rail accepts popular weapon lights and lasers for defensive setups. This is a current-production Smith & Wesson factory-new pistol.
