The Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield Plus Performance Center Carry Comp is a micro-compact striker-fired 9mm Luger pistol engineered to bridge the gap between full-size performance and easy everyday carry. Performance Center upgrades include a ported 4-inch stainless steel barrel with matte Armornite finish and a flat-face trigger with PC-tuned action, paired with a blacked-out optic-ready slide that is machined to accept compatible micro red-dot optics.

Built on the M&P polymer frame with the signature 18-degree grip angle, this Shield Plus carries 10+1 rounds and weighs just 17.9 oz unloaded. The slide carries aggressive front and rear serrations for positive manipulation, and a thumb safety sits on the frame for shooters who prefer a manual safety. Barrel twist is 1:10 for stable accuracy with standard 9mm bullet weights.
