The Sig Sauer MCX Rattler LT is an ultra-compact 223 Rem/5.56 NATO semi-automatic pistol built on the battle-proven MCX platform, originally developed at the request of special operations forces. The Rattler LT brings the modularity and durability of the MCX down to a true pistol footprint without sacrificing the features that define the line.

At the core of the Rattler LT is a 7.75-inch cold hammer-forged barrel paired with a quick-detach (QD) flash hider at the muzzle for easy suppressor or device mounting. The upper receiver is machined from aluminum and finished in Black Anodized, carrying an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting optics, lights, or lasers. The pistol ships with no iron sights installed, allowing the end user to configure an optic platform matched to the intended role.

Controls on the Rattler LT are fully ambidextrous, including ambidextrous bolt-catch and bolt-release levers, making the pistol equally intuitive for right- and left-handed shooters. The design is built to run reliably across a wide range of ammunition and conditions.

The Rattler LT ships with a 30-round detachable magazine for a published 30+1 capacity, and accepts standard 223 Rem / 5.56 NATO magazines. A SIG Folding Pivoting Contour Brace (PCB) with a synthetic housing comes installed, pivoting to the side for compact transport and folding without altering how the pistol handles at the ready.

With an overall length of 27.19 inches and a weight of just 6.10 pounds, the Rattler LT is balanced and controllable for an ultra-compact 5.56 pistol platform.
