Kimber Rapide Dawn 9mm 5" 9+1 Semi-Auto Pistol - CA/MA Compliant

The Kimber Rapide Dawn is a 1911-platform 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol built around a stainless steel frame and a 5" barrel with a 9+1 capacity. This CA/MA compliant variant ships with a single nine-round magazine and is configured for sale in states with restricted-handgun rosters, without giving up the features that define the Rapide line.

The Rapide series draws styling cues from custom 1911 builds, and the Dawn carries that through with a KimPro silver finish applied over the brushed and polished flats of the stainless steel slide. The slide is cut with a lightening cut and aggressive front and rear cocking serrations for press checks and manipulations.

The stainless steel frame wears a matching KimPro silver finish for wear resistance and corrosion protection. A visible loaded chamber indicator rounds out Kimber's safety package on this model.

Grips are Kimber's Rapide pattern in black and gray G10, machined for tactile texture and visual contrast against the silvered metalwork. The pistol measures 8.7" in overall length, 5.25" in height, and 1.28" wide at the frame, and tips the scales at approximately 40 ounces unloaded - a full-size 1911 with the heft to soak up recoil through fast strings at the range.

The CA/MA compliant configuration makes this one of the few ways to put a Rapide-pattern 9mm Kimber into restrictive states, all without giving up the features and custom-shop styling that set the line apart.
