Dan Wesson Specialist Commander Full Size Frame 45 ACP 4.25" 8+1 Semi-Auto Pistol

The Dan Wesson Specialist Commander is a full-size duty 1911 built around a true full-size steel frame paired with a Commander-length 4.25" stainless steel barrel and slide, giving shooters the longer grip and sight radius of a Government 1911 in a more compact, easier-carrying Commander package. Chambered in .45 ACP, this semi-automatic pistol wears a Black Duty finish on its serrated steel slide and frame, with an integral Picatinny accessory rail machined into the dustcover for mounting weapon lights or lasers.

The slide is topped with fixed tritium night sights for fast, confident aiming in low light. Controls are set up for either hand, with ambidextrous grip and thumb safeties keeping the 1911's signature manual of arms intact. Black/brown G10 grip panels fill the hand and hold positive under recoil, while the single-stack magazine provides an 8+1 capacity. Each new Specialist Commander ships with one 8-round magazine and carries an overall length of 8.75".
