The Century Arms AP53 is a semi-auto pistol patterned after the iconic HK53 and chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It distills the compact subgun-class handling of the original into a civilian handgun configuration built on a black stamped steel receiver with an MP5-compatible handguard for fitting the same accessories, rails and forends as the platform it mimics.

Up front sits an 8.30" cold hammer forged steel barrel topped by fixed front and adjustable rear iron sights. The barreled action is finished in black to match the receiver, and the pistol ships with a factory threaded muzzle ready for your favorite compensator or muzzle device. Controls include an ambidextrous safety selector that lets both right- and left-handed shooters run the action comfortably, paired with a black Navy-style pistol grip for classic HK-pattern ergonomics.

The AP53 measures 22.30" overall and tips the scales at 7.20 lbs. It feeds from HK33-pattern 30-round polymer magazines and ships with two 30-round magazines included, giving you serious round count right out of the box.
