The Auto Ordnance 1911 Texas Ranger Special Edition is a tribute to the legendary Texas Rangers, with production limited to only 25 pistols. Chambered in .45 ACP, this full-size Government Model 1911 pairs the classic single-action operating system with a slate of upgraded features aimed at shooters who want a premium factory 1911 with collectible appeal.

The pistol is built on a stainless steel frame finished in Stainless w/Gold Accents PVD treatment that carries the gold accent across the major components. A 5" stainless steel barrel wears the matching Gold Plated PVD finish, and the slide is engraved, ported, and serrated for custom styling along with positive slide-racking purchase. The combination of stainless steel construction and PVD finish gives the Texas Ranger long-term durability against wear and corrosion.

Shooter's controls are upgraded over a standard GI 1911, with an adjustable trigger, a skeletonized hammer, and a beavertail grip safety for a high, confident hold and a clean trigger pull. Standard 1911 safeties round out the package with firing pin, grip, and thumb safeties for safe carry and handling. The Texas Ranger is set up for a 7+1 capacity in .45 ACP, making it equally at home on the range, in a defensive rotation, or on display as part of a limited Auto Ordnance 1911 collection.
