The Chipmunk 40101 Hunter Youth Frame is a compact single-shot bolt-action pistol chambered in 22 S/L/LR (22 Short, 22 Long, and 22 Long Rifle), built by Keystone Sporting Arms in the USA as a scaled-down "youth frame" configuration of the popular Chipmunk Hunter pistol line. Purpose-built for new and young shooters, this pistol pairs a simple manually cocked bolt action, intuitive controls, and a manageable size that makes it an excellent choice for training, plinking, target shooting, and small game hunting.

At the heart of the Hunter Youth Frame is a 9" stainless steel barrel rifled with a 1:16 twist rate optimized for standard 22 LR projectiles. The barrel is factory-cut with 1/2x28 threads and ships with a protective thread cap, ready out of the box to accept a suppressor or other muzzle accessory. The action is a traditional manually cocked single-shot bolt paired with a firing pin safety for safer handling, and a set of Williams Fire Sights provides a clean, intuitive sight picture.
